Most of the world hates them. But what does oppo think about the Baja?

Also if you where going to modify one would it be lifted, or lowered?

Personally it's growing on me, and the more I think about it the more I think I would actually love owning one. As long as it doesn't have that awful 4 speed auto . I would love to see what a Baja would look like with he body molding gone, and Legacy GT bumpers.

It was very high on my list back when I was looking for a new car. It didn't make the cut only because the ones I could find were ridiculously priced. I'd still consider one though should the need arise again.

While I certainly see the appeal, I think they're hideous. I would never get one, but I don't judge those who do too harshly.

I also think there ugly, but right know my only car is a small two door coupe. it has taught me that I really do value utility over form. Yes the regular wagons look better but I think for a lot of things, at least in the summer, the Baja would be more practical. Especially with that bed extender.

I myself would prefer a Nissan Frontier. Same idea of small bed and for doors, but a lot less ugly. But of course the AWD of the Baja is advantageous for different applications.

I like them if I could find a N/A for a good price I would get it. They are ok on gas and have all the utility I would need. Its a shame "compact pickup trucks" are the same size as '90s full sizes with the MPG to match.

I have no problem with the Baja. It is just my Outback with the roof removed behind the passenger seat. Serves a purpose sometimes.

I'm definitely a fan, but partly because they fall into the category of "cars I can't buy in my country". Also, as an Australian I am genetically programmed to like all utes (sorry, 'compact pickup trucks').
